SPP-Ottawa Moderator Canada 10464 Posts	Posted 02/18/2018 9:29 pm 1976 nickel dollars with strike-through errors. Coin on the left was found 5 years ago, the coin on the right was found today. Undoubtedly, they are related to the same strike-through debris... can you put them in the order that they were struck? chadcoins Pillar of the Community Canada 1160 Posts	Posted 02/18/2018 10:03 pm SPP I found 2, 1976 PL sets with strike through errors on the dollars. Never took pics of them yet. Thought it was kinda cool to find 2 matching sets with the same identical error. Just like you finding 2 MS strikes. My error is quite different than yours. Report this Post to the Staff

I would say the second pictured coin (bottom) was struck later than the first because the affected area is larger from the debris (grease?) spreading out during striking. It reminds me of a series of LMCs I had with progressive strike-throughs.
