Can I say neither? The first one looks like it has retoned. It has a fingerprint and those white spots on the obverse maybe from an improper rinse after cleaning. The second one is better but I detect some hairlines or slide mark's across the obverse and it seems cleaned also.

I like the 47 better than the 46 by a hair . AU details for both.

46: au58 with rub on the breasts. also scratched between the breasts. obverse fields look wiped. reverse has pretty color.

47: au58 with wipe marks in obverse fields. reverse scratch fron eagle's neck onto left reverse field. nice strike and good luster but not saying Wow to me, just nice and a little blah as far as 58's go.

1846: AU-58, cleaned and retoned. Large spots on obverse.

1847: AU-58, cleaned and retoned. I like it better.

Prefer the '47, which looks AU-58 to me. I have no problems with the color.
