AU-53, or more accurately AU-50-58. I can't tell if the reverse "rub" on the rays is circulation wear or a light strike.

This one had terrible pictures but I was able to buy it for $155.49 including shipping which is xf40 money. The coin is difficult to photograph, and the slab has lots of scratches. But the coin has a lot of luster with typical striking weakness in the reverse as the mint was experimenting and failing with the new, much harder 25% nickel alloy composition at the conclusion of the Civil War. Looks like the horizontal lines in the shield are all there. Thanks for your input!
