Hello all, I think the fifty is a 2 digit radar, because a two digit repeater is considered a radar I think? The 1 dollar I'm not sure what it is, maybe also a 2 digit radar? Thanks guys

Never saw one before but that is a snowy owl - they have recently shown up on the Cleveland shoreline eating fish!

Wow Mark1959, eating fish.... that's a super rare owl. The majority eat mice.
I'll assume the $50 super repeater is worth at least double, as a two digit radar, the value I see online is at face value. The $1 note online, I see it at $40 for a 2 digit radar. LEt me know if anyone can reinforce this values or object to them.
thx

I am very familiar with that page, but not pricing for super radar notes as is the 50 note. I ended up getting the the fifty note for $140 can. The one dollar note sold for $57. Oh well.... Plus there is no values on the low serial number notes only pictures

Just saw this post so I thought I put my Two Cents in The 7070707 Is a 2 digit class "A" repeater and the 4044404 is a 2 digit class "B" repeater The class A is harder to find than a class B In a sequential brick there is a possibly to find a nice set of three notes The radar the class A repeater and the class B repeater For example 3473473. Class A repeater 3473347. Class B repeater 3473743 Radar 3 digit

Both are very nice notes any 2 digit radar note is a keeper in my eyes but $50 + 100 notes are hard to hang on to they add up fast.

Quote: I believe the 7070707 would be considered a Super Repeater. Just to clarify there is no super repeater This would be a 2 digit radar/class A repeater or what is more appropriately called a two digit cycle A very nice find

TheBurnz, I've not heard of the term super repeater but Charlton does refers to the 1979 issue radars with the eleven digit serial numbers as a "super radar", maybe you got the term mixed up.
Cheers, Bill

Yup, mixed up the terms in the writing process. Your thoughts on me spending $150 on this note. To much...

Its in VF condition for me. Sorry to say but in my opinion you over paid If the note was in UNC it would catalogue for that and the way the market is that would be overpaying

I see, but does the catalog price really reflect the value. I had a note that cataloged for $1,300. I collector contacted me and offered me $2,000 for it. They said it was a very hard note to locate.
I get the note isn't in UNC condition and will only be something a entry level collector will buy, but is there some under evaluation to special serial number notes in the catalog's.... It has to be worth more then face value..
