There are two coins: American Eagle Silver (or Gold) BULLION and American Eagle Silver (or Gold) UNCIRCULATED. They looks the same, so what's the difrence between this coins?
They are not quite the same. The Uncirculated version(sold directly by the Mint) has a West Point mint mark(W), is minted on burnished planchets and is meant for collectors while the bullion version(sold through secondary retailers) has no mint mark and is a vehicle for silver or gold investment. Also, the bullion version is eligible for inclusion in an IRA(individual retirement account) while the uncirculated version is not.
