SO how would you guys grade this 1809B French 5 Frank coin?
I am thinking about EF.

G'day, nice coin.
You've mislabelled your pics.
Your coin shows less wear than most I've seen, of that type & vintage. Yours has even wear, and no damage, in the sense of dings.

I would give it a VF....But,It could be seen as an XF,I suppose

Since I know nothing about grading French coins, I'll try to apply strict US criteria. This coin has obvious moderate wear to the reverse wreath. Both rims show loss of sharpness to the denticles. The emperor's hair is well-detailed but his laurel "crown" is pretty heavily worn. The color looks original and as Peter from Oz points out, there is no damage.

I'd give it a VF20 overall.

I was thinking VF too, but I'm a strict grader.
