1952-S Lincoln Wheat Penny Reverse Striking/Planchette Error

RevT New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 02/21/2018 11:35 pm Hi, have found a 1952S Lincoln Wheat penny that has what I think is some kind of strike/planchet error on the reverse with multiple depressions. I would like to upload and post a couple of photos of this coin from my iPhone if possible. Even after reading the tutorial on uploading coin photos I am unable to upload the two photos of the coin. I click on the upload link and nothing happens. The same holds for the Image Optimizer link. I am using my iPhone. Report this Post to the Staff

spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 02/22/2018 03:21 am I'm not sure I can help from afar. If you handed me your iPhone, I could probably do it, though. Make sure the pics are under 300kb and hit "Upload". You will have to select the pic (one at a time) to upload from the storage location that contains the original pic (if under 300kb) or the downloaded resized pic from a "download" folder. With the Optimizer, clicking on "Save Image(s)" will not actually download the pic(s). It should create green arrows next to each pic and you have to click on those to actually download the pics to your device. That may be the hangup. If you don't see the green arrows to the left of the pic thumbnails above, try again. It's a little wonky for me, but I adjusted. And the Image Optimizer opens a new browser window. Here is the tutorial about uploading and posting images And here is the CCF Free Image Optimizer to help crop your images. I started sending my pics from my iPhone to my email. Once received I would save them into my files. You can post from your laptop/computer. You can then post your pics.The problem with posting from the iPhone is they are not sending as jpeg photos to this site. Hope that helps! Report this Post to the Staff
