I found this star note today, I was about to spend it on a monster but saw the star and decided to keep it. It's in rough shape but I'm going to hold onto it.

Welcome to CCF Chrissy2697.
Some modern star notes are collectible, and realize a premium above face value. If you collect strictly from circulation then yours is a keeper....otherwise, because of condition, it's a spender.

I keep one in my wallet to show people. I give the ones in bad shape away to kids and friends.

I like to keep star notes if I find them since it doesn't happen that often.

That's a low number star note. I keep all star notes. I have 1 $5 and 2 $1
