Just browsing ebay tonight and came across this:

Given the seller, I think this is a product of lack of knowledge and not a scam.

Anyway, it shows no Blakesley Effect whatsoever, no tapering of the rims leading to the clip and no weakening of the devices near the clip. It actually shows metal movement inward onto the field/devices from the tooling that created this mildly deceptive PMD.

The metal movement into the devices is especially obvious in the last three letters of TRUST. Good pics for comparison to the real thing.

Could you show an image of the edge of the clipped area. That metal might be distorted also?
