Hi I'm looking for opinions on this quarter. It looks to me like a 1 under the Y in liberty ?
The mint Mark kind of looks like a mark over a mark or is it just filled or worn ?
Is it doubling on the L,E and R or just Machine Doubling ?
Thanks for any help and opinions .
Rob

Looks like circulation damage to me, but might be a tad of MD.

To me it appears to be over polishing to remove a device:

note on the inside of the 'Y' there looks like an incuse mark there. The bottom of the y looks like a strong polishing was done on that area of the field. This would leave a raised area on the coin.
