Two coins, currently ungraded. Are both genuine or altered or is 1 genuine?

coin on left (#!) is VF and coin on right (#2) is XF

Look at separation between mm D and the E in Five; more separation with #1, right?

Look at right hind limb; distinct from rim for #1 and runs into rim for #2

Look at separation from bison's back for Pluribus Unum; both are separated, which is a characteristic of genuine 1937 D 3 legger

comments, suggestions?

Pictures a little blurry but from what I can see, the one on the left
is genuine and the one on the right is one of the Chinese made counterfeit.

I have examined a number of certified 3 leggers and regular certified 1937 D nickels posted at ebay, and for the 1937D 3 legged series, there seems to be similar numbers with separation versus no separation between the "D" and the "E" directly above in "FIVE"

Keep in mind there are at least 3 different counterfeits in counterfeit PCGS slabs that I know of.

Need better pictures of the obverse and reverse of both coins. Too blurry.

Your pictures are way too out of focus to give you honest answers. But, I'll give you me best shot:

I suspect that the left coin is genuine. The coin on the right is just ourright counterfeit.

New pictures didn't change my original opinion.
Left one genuine, right one fake.

Left genuine but will not straight grade due to the numerous scratches. The right one is counterfeit.

At least you got one real one!

Very helpful! Thanks, I had convinced myself that the right one (#2) was real and #1 was the fake

The one on the left is legitimate. The one on the right is definitely a fake.
