I still really enjoy finding great coins that are raw and not in a slab or vinyl flip. Picked this up recently and thought the seller was very gracious on there assigned grade. The pictures are as taken with only cropping being done and the tone or colour is a lustrous brown. Opinions on the grade please? I'll show everyone the sellers assigned grade at a later point. Cheers, Bill

The fields are crystal clear. I'd love to see this in hand to see if the small spot above the left ear and the teeny piece of the bun was actually wear or just a combo of strike and drawer rub. The buttons of the jewels in the crown show no wear.

Beautiful coin.. Almost a low mint state but, the little mark on the Queen's jaw makes it AU-58

I appreciate all the input and assistance everyone is so close in opinions. The seller had this coin self graded at MS-60 LB I must admit it's such a pretty coin I thought it was much better perhaps MS-62-63 lustrous brown. I certainly have coins graded MS 62-63 that aren't nearly as nice. Thanks again to all. Cheers, Bill

I know this seller from Alberta. I also think his/her grades are conservative. They sold a 1858 ef for $300 that seemed Under graded. Nice coin. 60 for me. Hard to believe someone carried that around with pocked change.
