Is this a die crack? this coin is shiny and trying to get a good picture is kinda tricky.

Hmmm, so this overlay really wouldn't indicate or solve the problem for the anomaly in this area of the coin. Correct?

Correct. That area wasn't affected by a clash. The field is altered with something. The angle isn't correct for it to be feeder fingers. (unless they are at a different angle on dimes?) So the die may have been dented or roughed up on that area. The right side is weaker than the left side of the reverse.
