On the back cent is spelled cint not cent I have looked at it with a magnifying glass it looks real any way to tell if its a misprint

Most like post mint damage by someone altering the coin. CENT was sometimes altered to spell something else.

Looks like it was altered ( PMD). Better pics would help confirm that, however.

It is has been altered. It's no "misprint" or "error".

The coin has been reduced greatly in value because it has been altered.

Ehhh, maybe - it;s a common large cent. Could be a "grease filled" exampl.

Can ya show us a pic of the obverse - I think 9 $ ain't a bad deal
