...sent to PCGS when selling off the set as I liked the toning, but can't grade MS coins. Answer on Monday. Have a great weekend!

CCF classifies a Franklin half dollar as a modern coin. I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention.

That's a beauty don!

I say 66. It's hard to tell if the reverse is weakly struck or the photos just aren't very sharp... can't tell about the bell lines.

Regardless, it's one I would love to have in my set!

I guess 58, though I have been trying to work on my grading and seeing myself differ so much from the first few guesses has me a little concerned lol!

That is a beautiful coin.

Thank you, I didn't know (don't have too many modern coins) and appreciate the kind treatment of noobs here!

Y'all all good and the reverse photo is poor. I got really, really lucky in buying higher grade raw coins 15+ years ago for the 7070. By the time I was about 10 coins in, I had found myself drawn to nicely worn, toned silver with original surfaces, especially Barber halves in F-XF.

Another day for guesses and I'll post the PCGS slab :)

That coin is for sure from a Double Mint set. That is how many of them look like.
