Hello all, I went to my first coin show today over all it was fun 12 to 15 dealers had door prizes did not win anything also when you checked in you got a winter 2018 vol 1 number 2 of Market Review cool paper with updates pricing. picked up a few things was told they were BU rolls of cents 71S , 71D , 63P , 64P 1.25 per roll and picked up some notes. most of the tables were silver dollar and gold. I think I got took looking at the rolls I got sealed in plastic cases and tape sealed the edges looked real good but most to all the coins look like this. some are better was told BU from the roll to the cases. is this right

Older BU cent rolls are notorious for having spotting problems. It is usually due to storage conditions. Humidity and temperature swings are sometimes the culprit.

It's best to open a roll before buying a bunch of them from the same source. I know I would.

Sight unseen gives you no gauge of what you're getting into. Not a tremendous loss, though. Those would no longer be BU. That seller needs to upgrade their storage conditions.
