Is this where I'd discuss a Stella?

Almost an hour since your post and it's still in the NCLT section so it must be a good place.
Rest in Peace

What do you want to discuss, is it real or not? Considering there are 37 known examples of three different varieties, if you have one and it is not slabbed/certified and in a safe somewhere, you don't have one and most likely never will. If yours is "raw", it is a reproduction which should say COPY somewhere or it is counterfeit.

This appears to be the same coin someone (with a name similar to yours) asked about a few months ago, in this thread: http://goccf.com/t/300616 -- that/this one is fake.

Where did you acquire this? The 1879 Coiled Hair Stella is very rare with a handful of pieces known. Considered a proof only issue, the lettering and devices should be sharp. Here's a genuine piece that sold for $882,000 for comparison. https://coins.ha.com/itm/proof-four...Lot=1x=0&y=0

The missing decimal point in front of the 3 gives this one away as a fake.
Rest in Peace

It could be a coincidence that they're both named Terea and from Richmond, MO . . . and have the same coin . . . and used the same pictures.
