US Mint - The United States Mint (Mint) will accept orders for the 2018 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin (product code 18EG) on May 24 at noon Eastern Time (ET). The coin will sell for $46.95.  The Mint has produced the American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin since 1986. It is the collector version of the Mint's American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin and bears the "W" mint mark of the West Point Mint. The obverse (heads) design features Adolph A. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The reverse (tails) design features a heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. Each encapsulated coin comes in a blue presentation box with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Yup..."uncirculated" has always been the burnished version...since 2006

The ASE varieties can be confusing if you haven't done your homework. |

I received my 2018-W ASE yesterday. It looks great and just like they do every year. It will be interesting to see if the -S ASE that comes out later this year will be in identical packaging as the -W ASE. |

I didn't know that there was a burnished S ASE coming out this year...proof yes but in the LE set |

My burnished should arrive in the next couple of days, and I'm looking forward to putting it in my CAPS album.

Got mine a couple days ago but only had the opportunity to open them up tonight. They look great! Other than spending over 2.5x silver spot on these, you can't go wrong.  |

Looks like the 2017 is done at 176,568 which is PRETTY low for a W ASE...probably the lowest mintage W so far |
