@BEH, I agree with @crazyb0, that these coins, with their heavy, rolled over rims most likely were damaged from being in a dryer. There is no numismatic value, but you are right that they are interesting, so certainly keep them if you want.

Please read your link thoroughly it is a theory not a fact you go throw some coins in a dryer and see lol you'll burn yourself before anything happens to a coin it's not soft like gold the edges are rounded not flat so no it didn't rub ND scrap the sides kindly pick on someone else going around dismissing people on a hunch or theory really and then a later someone joining and trolling my pics thanks for your opinions but that's all that was I'm sure there's a thousand other ways it could have happened next I have my own coin printer

It is definitely a Dryer Coin. If you do not believe this, then why are you asking us? Go ask a local coin dealer.

@BEH, I'm sorry that you seem to disagree vigorously with something one of has said. You are right that since we did not watch this coin for the last 70+ years, we can only speculate. However, before you disregard our opinions so quickly, you might want to read this informative prior CCF thread: http://goccf.com/t/143863

Baldeaglehaven, there is NO one on this site that is trying to bully you or anyone else. I had a cent a couple of weeks back that I suspected of being a "Dryer" coin. And, I was right and THEY were right because that is exactly what it was, a Dryer Coin. The people that replied to your post are only trying to tell you their honest opinion. Not bully you. You probably thought you may have have a rare coin and didn't get the answer you had hoped for. When we all start out, we all think we have a million dollar coin. Then we start gaining knowledge from the great people on sites like this. I'm sorry that your coin is just like mine and isn't special at all. Just remember this site was created to help collectors, not bully new people just for asking an honest question. Just expect to get an honest opinion. To your honest question. Keep searching!
