I'm going to make it a habit to try and attribute at least one coin a week. These have been set aside for about 2 years and I finally got one. Coin 1: I love this coin for some reason, the portrait and patina are great. I can't make out the legend and the reverse is a wreck. Coin 2: Putting pieces of the puzzle together I got: Arcadius AE4. D N ARCADIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right / SALVS REI-PVBLICAE, Victory walking left holding trophy over right shoulder and dragging captive. Chi-Rho in left field. Ok @tc, I'm really glad to hear that you will be regularly posting here. A couple thought about your pics to save our eyes and help us to help you. Don't bother with pics showing more than one coin at a time. What we really need are pics of a single coin that are cropped, in focus, oriented correctly, and well-lit.
Roman coins aren't really my thing right now, but I'm hopeful that someone here can help you.

IMHO:
Coin 1 is definite and fairly clear Arcadius. I can't see anything on reverse, however.
Coin 2 (if they're in the same order on the pics) is definite Salus, but I think it's Valentinian II. Looks like DN VAL on the left side.
Can't see the mintmark well enough. ANT would have another letter.

Thanks - january1may - Now that you've said that, I do see the "CADIVS" in there. For the second one, I'll look into it, but you're probably right. I took a pic of the legend again, but , it's pretty bad. At least I got the reverse

A complete picture of the second coin would help, however I believe it might be Valentinian II.

Ok, let's see if these are good. Looking through wildwinds by this reverse type, the bust is definitely looking very similar to my coin.

No need to apologize and these new pics are a significant improvement.
