@sv0707, not my area of expertise, si I can't help, but I'm thinking that including a pic of the other side would be useful, along with diameter and weight. Thx!

Not a genuine coin ... perhaps fun to some as a novelty if priced accordingly.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

I like it as a novelty. How was it acquired?

Do you know who would have made such a detailed novelty and wouldn't it say copy and not have the s mint mark?

These sorts of things show up with some frequency here on CCF. You could use the search function on the upper left part of your screen to look for these prior threads. I'd use the keywords MINIATURE COINS or something similar. Here is one such thread, but with miniature gold coins: http://goccf.com/t/172739

Quote: Do you know who would have made such a detailed novelty and wouldn't it say copy and not have the s mint mark? Coins that are at least 50% larger, or at least 25% smaller, are not required to have anything to distinguish it from a genuine, and is not considered a counterfeit.

On how I acquired it is a bit of a story but it was told to me that the original owner did have ties to the worlds fair as a inventor or an artist I can't remember.Im not sure of his name though I do know his nephews name.

Loose piece issued by the Franklin Mint in 1982. Part of the "Coins of the U.S. in Miniature" set. Set is listed in Guidebook of Franklin Mint Issues, 1982 edition, page 110. You can buy it here (link below) or just look at the original packaging picture. https://www.blackmountaincoins.com/...d-11699.html
