Got-My-Siver-Eagles-Today
After starting a post about using some of my tax return money. To start a silver eagle bullion set. I received them today. Now I have to figure out how I want to store them in a Dansko or flips.

If you want to keep them nice and shiny go with air-tites and the accompanying album. If you want to get some [potential] toning, go with the Dansco.

Every once in awhile I give some thought to starting one of those collections, myself. Then I give some thought to what my wife would say about one more blue binder on the shelf. She's already giving me the hairy eyeball when she sees me upgrading a merc or two to a (casual) circulated folder!

Pretty!

If you're displaying as a set, I personally prefer the look of an album. I like the blue of the Whitman Classic against that silver, but Danscos look great too. Or you could go the CAPS route.

A few storage methods for these:

1. non PVC hard plastic coin flips. Store those in a long box used for 2x2's.
2. in 2.5x2.5's Mylar / cardboard flips, in 12 pocket non PVC album pages.
3. screw sealed acrylic individual coin capsules. Sometimes hard to get in this exact size.

It will depend on how large you will allow your bullion collection to grow.
