AU-55. I like this one better than the cleaned one you posted earlier. Looks like it has original surfaces.

A hard date to find in AU. I noticed the coin has a CAC sticker and the price seems fair, but the coin is no bargain. It is one that I would like to see in hand as the photos may not do the coin justice. Waiting for one with better eye appeal could take years, and you will pay a higher premium.

What do you guys think of the obverse carbon spots? I think they are magnified by the pictures, but in hand I've been told they are not that noticeable.
Rest in Peace

Hate to swim against the tide, but I don't like this example.

There are always more beautiful coins available than any of us can afford to buy. This one has the dark spots and weird incomplete toning that just doesn't look great to me.

It's a tough coin to find in mid AU, but I'd pass on this one myself.

Also - I've got three coins that have been at the top of my want list for more than five years. I've seen at least a dozen of each sell in that time. I'm still waiting for examples I love. So I do listen to my own advice.

Thank you Moxking. That makes perfect sense. As much I've always wanted one of these in this grade, I'll be
happier if I stick it out until that right one comes.

As usual I agree with Mox. The carbon spots would be a deal breaker. Move along to another example.
