I copied your images, I messed around with them. All I can make out is an anchor on front and some text on the back, maybe a slogan or merchant half penny of sorts.
I think if you skipped the light ( flash ) in your camera and posted two better smaller images, we might be able to help. The second one is turned 90 degrees to the right.

edit: Since you found it in a cent roll, it may be an obscure civil war store card.

I think I can see Ohio at the bottom. So it would seem to be a civil war store card token from Ohio.
Edit to add:
I think I found a match for the obverse with a different reverse.

Actually, my wife found out and you were right, its a Civil War Coin! Probably not worth anything in its condition. Thanks alot for your help TNG!

Lots of hard living on this piece, but to find a token from the 19th Century in circulation is pretty amazing. You should go back to that bank and buy everything they have!
