What are your thoughts about the grade of this rouble?
I did some research online and I think it is somewhere within the range of MS62-MS66.. Actually I found a picture of MS65 that looked worse than this, but then another picture of MS63 that looked better than mine, so I'm a bit lost.. (I never submitted any coins to TPGs, so it is a bit confusing to me..)
The only problems I can see on the coin, are bag marks to the left from Nikolai's head, as well as some tiny nicks on his head. And bag marks to both left and right of eagle's wings. Besides that, coin looks almost flawless in hand.
Here are some close up photos:

I'm a bit concerned about the apparent graininess of some of the surfaces. Have you weighed it and/or performed other acts of due diligence to begin to establish its authenticity? I'm not saying it's not genuine, but it falls within a genre for which many numismatic forgeries have been made in recent years for the purpose of swindling collectors.

Lucky Cuss > Thanks for your insight. I have no doubts about the authenticity of this one. The surface I would describe as 'lustrous frosty' - typical for russian silver coins. Maybe it just doesn't look right in my photos :)
Rest in Peace

Much better than average strike and no hints of cleaning or dipping. Decent luster.

I don't think this would grade higher than 62. It has a lot of ticks.

Thanks, moxking.
What do you think about this one, that I found on Heritage, which was graded MS64 by NGC:

It looks to me like it has more ticks all over than my coin, and it even has a rather big punch mark(or a nick?) below the shoulder of Nikolai..

I think you coin could be a Ms63-64. The dumber of dents etc is pretty minmal.

MS 63 from the photos. That scratch on the left of the Tsar's face negates a higher grade, to me.
