Hey Guys, I bought a role of pennies at the grocery store and this was in it. Sadly, if you look close on the reverse you can see a finger print. Has this coin lost all it's value? What about the raised ridge along Lincoln's back?

It is difficult to tell the color from the pictures; might it be plated?
Rest in Peace

I see from your closeups a beat to hill coin, there's too much chatter and contact scratches to be that high grade, color could be enhanced. There is massive MD across the devices on the obverse and some on the reverse. It's circulated, less than MS could only with those small scratches rate a AU53 if original luster.

Appears to have been polished at some point, worth about 5 cents IMO.

I'm not sure, but the full coin pics do suggest polishing and/or plating post-mint.

The shine looks very flat with hardly any mint luster, if that makes sense.

It also shows heavy MD and DDD from late stage dies.

It's a neat find, but I wouldn't really put any premium value on it.
