Hi Community,

Do think this is an error?
The back of the coin shows (what I think is) an error above the star. The edge &b reverse shows no sign of damage BUT the rim on the same side shows an extra line for a portion of the circumference in the middle of the rim edge.

What do you think? (Sorry about the terrible cropping & quality)

@CC, pretty hard to tell from your pic, but there is nothing that isn't consistent with PMD that I see. A better pic would be more helpful in getting a more definitive opinion.

Maybe it has at some time been soldered to a ring or clip, to be worn as jewellery?

I see what you mean but to me (under a scope) it really looks like the rim has been distorted as apossed to melted.
