Hello- new here. I came across a 2005 D Nickel. The front appears to be normal, however, the back appears to have an error. There are a few scratches, but the majority of the back is completely smooth (no raised portion, no indent, evidence on printing) with the exception of half of the outer permitter. Any ideas? Worth anything? Thanks.

BTW, it would be a "printing error" if done on a 3D printer, this was made in a coin press. Xerox are't us...

I can tell by the bright lines on the coin that the reverse has been sanded or attacked by a rotary wire brush wheel (as in Crazyb0's pic). It is just damage ( PMD) and only worth face value.
