Hello, I'm new hear. In the past few months I started coin collecting. My grandma let me go through whatever she had saved from my grandfathers collection. Him and his brother in law use to collect together. So inside a bag I found this Nickel along with a few others. I have never seen anything like it and my gramma, of course didn't know where it came from. So, I am looking for any insight, opinions or etc on my coin. I emailed a couple Experts and got two different opinions. I just wanted to get some other views to see if it was worth maybe sending off to get it looked at. Or am I wasting my time. It's the size of a quarter. The obverse sides lettering is mirrored to each other and there's another head imprinted as well. Hope you guys can help! Thanks

To CCF! What you have here is not an error by any means. This is nothing more than a Vise-Job. The person gets 2 coins (can be the same denomination or different) lay them on top of each other, put them on a hard surface, and then whacks them with a hammer and this is what happens. In other words, it's Post Mint Damage (Happened out of the U.S. Mint) and does not add value. It's worth face value.

Note that both sides don't show the same event happening. Just a coin that was worked over. It may have been spent as a quarter?
