I've had this coin for some time but have not been able to identify it. My best guess would be 16th century Poland. Any of you medieval folks have any idea?

Medieval Poland certainly had a large number of unhappy looking eagles on their coins! Haven't been able to pin-down your particular example but you might find this link helpful:-

Hope it helps.

Not sure that's a Polish eagle. The wings tend to curve upward toward the tips.
@spence has commented a bit on those eagles elsewhere, so I guess he will chime in too.

Ron, here is the CCF thread talking about the position of the eagle's wings as a determinant of minting authority: http://goccf.com/t/308457

I agree with @tdziemia that these wings don't slope the way that I would expect. Any chance of you PMing me larger pics so that I can really blow up the rev image and maybe figure out what you've got? Will be good weekend work, but I'll post my thoughts here when I have a better idea. In the meanwhile, it wouldn't surprise me if either @BobL or @giedrius figures it out for you.
