Recently, I wanted to start a CBH Date set album. However, the only CBH albums include many expensive varieties, such as the 1815. When I asked about a better album that doesn't include rare dates such as the 1815, a forum member suggested I use a Dansco 7000 album with the 12 pocket page that holds 2 x 2s. However, will the pocket page damage the coins inside the 2 x 2s in any way?

Thanks.

I have multiple Dansco 7000 albums, the oldest nearly 30 years old. I have had no issues or complaints. I think they are just fine as long as you use a quality 2x2 holder and keep your albums in a stable environment.

However, you might want to consider getting a binder and some of the unlabeled bust half dollar pages...

I would have to see them in hand. PVC has a smell to them and are very pliable. You might be able to google some info about the album.

12 pocket pages use 2.5" x 2.5" flips.

You can buy air tight no staple 2x2's especially made for Bust Halve sizes. About $12 per hundred. Fits in 20.pocket pages.

Not for the Dansco 7000 album. The pages are much smaller than a standard three-ring binder.

I already purchased the Dansco 7000 along with some more 2 x 2s. I guess I'll probably be using the Dansco 7000, as it seems popular, and I haven't heard of anyone stating their coins have been damaged while in the album.

Thanks jbuck. I'm pretty sure my coins will be fine, if you have kept yours in the 12 pocket page for 30 years.

Yup. Just do not leave your album in the attic or garage.
