This was an interesting purchase for $5. It is a two-headed Barber half dollar. One obverse has an 1892 date and the other an 1893 date. The surfaces look BU and I was wondering whether it was made from two original Barber half dollars. I looked at it carefully and I think the coin was made by sandwiching two real Barber halves. What do you think?

Both coins used to make this are counterfeit.

The date fonts are both wrong. The stars look "funky" too!

If it doesn't screw apart or open its not a Magicians coin. Dates are a dead giveaway of fakes.
