A so-called spike head, but with an extra die crack. Very nice!

Nice find! I'm not sure, but I think that one might qualify as a Cracked Die.

Quote: I didn't see anything like it on COC. On second look, I didn't see anything exactlylike it.. Should I e-mail pics to COC or does it qualify as a variety (cracked die)?

Go to COC and check the definition of Cracked Die and check to see if it's listed there or elsewhere on the sight. If it's not, I'd bet JC will be making his rounds and probably contact you. If not, you could shoot him an email.

It seems to be an IDB (interior die brake) Quote: IDB die crack on reverse, spike head, & die crack above eye on obverse. That is describing IDB-1c-2014-02 (cross reference SKH-1c-2014-18). Or maybe like UDC-1c-1940S-01. It says that a die brake or split is necessarily bisecting. Though part of this one does touch the rim....? They are closest things I can find. Hey CoinMasters, you posted while I was editing my last.

I remembered I had found one with an intersection before. (just finding it was hard. 7,500+ images to look through) Found it!
