Trying to decide whether to pursue an AU coin or stretch my budget to ms62 or ms63. The cost spread isn't huge. I'm thinking the extra spent on an ms coin will be a better choice down the road. Basically AU55 or AU58 vs Ms62 or 63 rb.

Forget about MS-62 and -61 and -60.
Coins get those grades because they have problems even though uncirculated.

AU-58 would be worth it because of price and is only a slight rub from being MS-63 or better.
Otherwise look for MS-63 or better.

I would probably go with a nice chocolatey AU-58.

Unless going for a MS Registry Set, I'd rather have a beautiful choice AU coin than an ugly "technically uncirculated" one.

I'd go MS63RB if you can afford it. I like me some red on me copper though and most AU58s are on the browner side.

I'll keep my eye out for an AU58, MS63BN, MS64BN or MS63RB.

Not an easy coin in any grade. Good luck finding one you like.

I found a pretty nice AU53 this morning offered by Rick Snow. It fit my budget quite nicely!
