It kind of looks like debri of some sort under the copper plating. But looking the zinc rot in "WE", I'm leaning towards zinc rot. One of the experts should be along soon to determine just what it is

Edit: Is the area I'm question raised? If so you should be able to flatten it with a toothpick. If it flattens than it is probably zinc rot.

Around the G looks to be some sort of plating issue (FYI laminations don't apply to copper-plated cents).

The reverse does indeed have a nice die crack.

Plating bubbles. This is caused by a trapped debris between the copper layer and zinc core. This will cause the zinc to corrode and "rot" releasing gasses and dust which cause the plating to expand/contract in response. Also related to this is "split plating" issues where the device edges were stretched and broken around them exposing the zinc core to begin corroding.

Then it is something under the plating that was not rinsed off the planchet before it was plated. The green spot pretty much remove the collect ability for this though.
