If you could travel to the past, what coins would you get? I'd probably go back to 1793 and buy all the chain cents...

I'd go back to 1995 and buy as many 1995-W silver dollars that I can. Then I would come back here and whatever little few that are left would be inflated and I would slowly release them out on the market and with that money buy what I need. Or go back to the 1890's and a shopping list and buy what I need.

Rupert,Vermont 1786 to get some RED Vermont coppers. Then, San Francisco in the 1850's and buy every territorial gold coin I can. At least one from every private company. Then jump ahead 43 years and get some 1893 Dollars!

I'll let my past self answer this one, in this old thread. There are some links he placed in that thread to even older past selves and other people from the past, discussing time travel.

Oh, and a big "Hi There!" to my future self and all the other citizens of the future, who might stumble upon this thread once it's been archived.
