Can anyone tell me if there were caribou quarters minted in 2017? Every quarter I have from 2017 is the 150 series and I was wondering where the caribou quarters were, but then suddenly wondered if perhaps none were minted.

The caribou quarters are in sets only, none were circulated in 2017.

Caribou quarters were uncirculated, unless some idiot decided to break the rolls or sets.

You can still get the six coin set from the mint for $24.95 but if you only collect quarters it may be cheaper to buy the single coin from a coin dealer or ebay.

Six coin set? I think it's five coin, and the name is uncirculated 2017.

The 2017 Caribou was minted for many sets including the 5 coin gift sets (various), the six coin (called the 2017 Classic Canadian set and likely what punman referenced), the 2017 Map set and the special wrapped rolls. Likely other sources too though officially they were not available via circulation (banking system).

IMO it would not be surprising to find one from these sets/rolls in circulation because gift sets often get broken apart by gift recipients who are not coin collectors and thieves who steal them simply to spend the cash.

As punman said, ebay sellers have them most likely from the special rolls. Or you can buy one for a $1 from this dealer...https://www.colonialacres.com/product-p/sh118.htm
