1990 D Quarter Error. Or PMD? - Coin Community Forum

Consider posting a close-up of just this region of interest. In the upper loop, I see what may be a little debris or damage in the upper left hand corner (see below). I suppose it could be a tiny die chip on the post that makes that part of the letter, but we'd need clearer pics to tell for sure. Regardless of what it is, I'm still thinking that your coin is worth face value.
