2000 Nickel Die Break - Coin Community Forum

mountainman 2 Valued Member United States 351 Posts	Posted 04/14/2018 12:43 pm I found this while going through 40$ in nickels last night. The crack runs nearly the entire length of the coin. I couldn't find another example of the 2000-P for comparison. Would this be considered a die crack or a die break? Report this Post to the Staff

Either way, it's a very nice find! Getting it for face value is even better! With the possible exception of the area above the 1st L in Monticello, the crack runs completely across the coin.
