I found this while going through 40$ in nickels last night. The crack runs nearly the entire length of the coin. I couldn't find another example of the 2000-P for comparison. Would this be considered a die crack or a die break?

If the die "crack" goes from rim to rim, unbroken then I would call it a die break. If it does not, then I call it a die crack,IMHO. Either way it is a keeper.

A little wear and tear from being in circulation, but that is a nice pick-up for face value!

Does the Die Cracks connect to each other? If they do, then it's a Rim To Rim Die Crack. Either way, it's a very nice find! Getting it for face value is even better!

With the possible exception of the area above the 1st L in Monticello, the crack runs completely across the coin. That one area I'm not sure is a crack or part of the coin's design.
Thanks for the replies. Lots of knowledgeable people here.
