I see a nice coin with nearly mark-free surfaces. There is definite, slight wear on the cotton bolls and the eagle's breast and legs, plus loss of luster in the fields. I'd call it solid for AU-55 and possible for AU-58.
I would have guessed MS 64 or so until I read Jaobler and TLS5933 (I try not to look but I did). I would say if it is AU that it is a 58. er is often a tough thing to pick up by photos. The cheek is clean and bag marks are minimal for a Morgan. Enjoy it.
If this is a typical example of DGS grading I'm gonna keep my eyes open for these slabs. DGS might be trying for a reputation as the most conservative grading service. That is a really NICE AU-50.
An AU-55 is technically supposed to have full luster with only a trace of wear on the highest points. I think there is little doubt this coin meets the wear requirement, so I must assume DGS thought the luster was lacking.
