1959 D Penny With Part Of O Missing And Other Possible Errors?

Ive just recently got into metal detecting and coin collecting, when I came across this penny. I noticed on the reverse that the bottom part of the "O" in one cent was missing and on the top right of the memorial it looks like extra metal or something. On the obverse side the D looks funny to me. Are these errors and if so, do they add value?

to CCF. The reverse looks like circulation damage to me. The obverse GOD and the mint mark I need better pics to tell anything.

Probably a Gumball Machine massacre. The damage is parallel to the rim. What happens when they are damaged that way.
