Hello,

Which coin inventory software do you prefer or use? I used to just use a spreadsheet but coin inventory software has a lot of coins already in their databases.

Coinmanage is easy to use and modify the database once you get used to it and it is not a bad price.

EZ Coin seems a lot more comprehensive in its coin database information than coinmanage but it isn't very user friendly and a little expensive.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Rich

@snitchard, it is a little dated (2016), but this thread covered coin collecting software pretty thoroughly:

I use Excel myself, but I'm sure that you'll get a variety of answers...

I re-evaluated and simplified then updated my Excel spreadsheet and I couldn't be happier. I did get some ideas from the Coinmanage demo. I added tabs for the Grand Total of my collection and a Tab for coins I have sold plus a want list tab and a type template so all of my tabs are consistent with the same information. Now putting a coin in my inventory is quick and easy.
