I posted this the other day, but the pics were terrible. Can we try this again? I found this penny while coin roll hunting. It is a 1976 Lincoln Penny, and it looks great for finding in a roll. Has it been dipped? Any help would be great!! Thanks

I see no reason why a coin so common would be dipped. I'll go on the cautious side of MS63RD.

At what point would you have a coin graded? Is it worth it?

Just a random question here (not my intent to hijack this thread), but are copper coins ever dipped? Isn't that just for silver coins?

Yes, Spence, not only copper/bronze but gold too. Idiocy knows no bounds.

This one is Technical Grade 63 Red. Eye Appeal 7/10.

I've seen dipped copper coins before. They have an odd color.

It's nothing to be ashamed of- we were all newbies at some point.
Your pictures are still fairly blurry. Although it's clearly a very nice coin for a circulation find, it would have to be pretty high (Maybe 67+? This isn't really my field) to justify having it graded by a TPG.
Rest in Peace

I'm thinking sharper pics would reveal a lot of surface issues on the obverse.
