Looks like some form of Die Deterioration to me. However, I'll wait for the experts (coop, Crazyb0, E&V) to give you a more definite opinion. to the CCF!

I have a bunch of those too.. Would be nice if it is an error, but I kinda have the feeling... They remind me of windblown snow or sand piling up -- same direction n all and all n the same place.. I had some that were weaker too, that I just left in the rolls..

It has a name, search previous posts, Tannman maybe? It isn't an error of worth, common machine problem. I haven't made LSC's an interest, is among the least inspired changes in modern coinage and lousy production standards since 2014 on, really yeech!

Here is a link to a page of threads we've discussed different subjects on. You will enjoy these as we share information about various subjects. Including on on DDD. I just call it Die Deterioration. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...C_ID=265641&Take a look at these. I put a lot of images in my discussions. I try to help others see, what I see. Each on is a subject that is educational. When you wat to search for a subject, just remember. CoopHome. Will turn blue and show two pages of links. The second page is updated. Enjoy.

That's just Die Deterioration from a worn die. Not an error, but just the result of normal wear and tear on the die. Not worth a premium.
Errers and Varietys.
