I found this today cherry picking. Any information I found says that it could be a couple of different things. I'd really like to get a definite answer as to what the error is. Thanks

It looks like it was sanded down. Notice how all the high relief areas are all the same height. Whether or not someone did it on purpose, there's no way to tell. At least that's my opinion.

The devices on the inside to look like strike through but the bottom of the bust looks too clean a line. I do agree the rim looks raised higher than the bust but I can't say for sure from the pics. Almost like someone used a dremmel on everything inside the rim if the edge is indeed not flattened. It looks like it was sanded from the SE to the NW direction. But like I said, that's just me humble opinion and more than likely wrong.

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it Waynoah83. But then I looked closely at the rim and saw that the inside of the rim edge is as crisp as the day it was made. I just don't see how anyone can sand it and not hit the inside of the rim

But now you got me to thinking. If it is a grease filled then would there be the lines that Winoah83 is referring to

Not to be contrary but isn't the question directly related to the topic. If I am supposed to edit the post I'm not sure what to edit it to. Again I'm new here so I just need clarification on the subject. Thanks

There may be no need to post multiple one line replies or corrections of previous posts. You can edit to correct spelling errors or if you think of an additional comment, you can add a line to an existing post.
