I like it Earl, very nice. I am having trouble finding any 2017-P cents. I have maybe 20 saved and 5 I tossed back because of condition issues. I am looking for a MS 67 or higher, but the slabbed ones are still at crazy prices. John1

I get quite a few down here. Even only being a year old, I don't see many real nice ones. Thinking the price will go down. I'm sure a lot of collectors stashed some rolls of these away because of the "P" mint mark. Lot of hype about it when they came out.

Very nice find! You don't find too many Trails on the reverse of LSC's. Usually, you would find them on the Obverse.
Errers and Varietys.

Thank you Earl for posting your find. I just found two in one roll. One has a die crack on the reverse at 5k. I also went through the 20 I had saved from previous rolls, and sure enough 7 with trails a had missed. John1

They seem to be pretty common. Just not where you would ordinarily expect to find them.

I'm wondering if it was MD? My question is: Are the devices extending longer than the normal devices? If they are trails they will be longer, then it would be a trail die. But if they flow the length of normal height of the devices, it maybe MD only if they are incuse, because those devices are raised on the die. So they may just be contact marks with the raised devices on the die. But if they are contact marks, they would be incuse. So on your coin are your devices for trails raised, or incuse?

I'll take a close look at them when I get some time. Seems to be that since trails are raised on planchets that are struck with dies that have incuse devices, that planchets struck with dies that have raised devices would have incuse trails. Just a thought.

They seem to be trails to me. Whether they are trails or anti-trails might be the question? John1 EDIT: I can't seem to find info on anti-trails. Anyone have a link?
