I vote modern fake. I can't think of a legitimate reason for one side to have room for dentils but not the other side.

There's a 1743 dated one also under discussion here right now that has similar dentil issues. I initially judged it a modern forgery, but its weight is like this one not disqualifying. It's getting harder all the time to call these anymore on visual cues alone unless they're really obvious trash.

The distinctive design details for a late 1760 are correct at least, so both obverse and reverse were copied from a genuine coin. Everything is just a bit too mushy looking though, even accounting for wear and corrosion so I'll probably bet on fake for this one.

The craftsmanship of the edge of this coin is critical so pictures from the edge are required to judge it is fake or not. My first impression is quite good for it.

The edge looks okay to me so this coin is real to me.
