This quarter seemed at first post damage but after looking closer found that there is no details on face and hair. Found an article that explains some of this may be a new error that they are calling road rash . But if it's post damage why is all details on face and hair gone? And it weighs 5.5s
Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you for your time !! And if you look closely at 1o-clock you will see some of the Cud is still laying on top of edge

Road rash is a synonym for damage. This is not an error, it is just Post Strike Damage.

Please post a link to the Coin World article. Not a Cud etheir. How are we going to read it if you didn't provide a link? All I see is Post Mint Damage from being in the parking lot. Worth face value. You're going to have to do more research on error coins. Look at this link I'll provide. http://www.error-ref.com/

Edit: I found the article he's talking about, but it doesn't match his coin. His coin is Post Mint Damage. It doesn't resemble the coin in the article. https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...ype.all.html

Looks like damage, but very unusual.
Rest in Peace

I couldn't find the article and there is no reference to road rash on error-ref.com.

I might try looking more later on but it's lunch time....
