The OP may have been referring to this article: https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...ype.all.html While this Indiana quarter looks like a case of road rash (post-strike damage), it's not. The planchet was scraped so heavily that the strike failed to smooth it out. Error coin writer and researcher. Report this Post to the Staff
