So I was at a coin show this morning and was looking through loose silver dimes trying to fill some holes. I come across this coin that I'm assuming will be a 64 since it's so shiny, look at it and it turns out to be a 49-s! I'm super bad at grading and I know the pics are pretty bad but I would say it would grade at least AU. Super excited about this find, let me know what you guys think.

Great find! That is one of the last 4 I need... 54S, 55, and 55S are the other three. All inexpensive, but I just haven't come across any other than on ebay...

Nice find. Doesn't it make you wonder why it was in that box?

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. The dealer I got it from did deal in a ton of uncirculated coin so I guess in preparation for the show it got mixed in with the junk rather than into a 2x2 with the other unc. Whatever happened I'm stoked to own it!

I recently bought a BU 49-S and it was definitely not in a junk box for $1.15. You could easily put together a set of those in AU for relatively cheap. I have a BU set and now I'm putting together a circulated set with my spares. Love those silver Roosies.
